The Staff at Honey Dew Acres
|
Emily Cambridge Carrier
|
A
graduate HA Pony Clubber, Emily is HDA's head instructor and is certified by the American
Riding Instructors' Association (ARIA). She is only one of three such
certified instructors in the North Country. Her positive attitude and easy
manner make her an effective teacher for all ages. When not working with horses and riders, she doubles as a figure
skating
instructor putting her 20 years of experience on ice to good use. Aside from teaching, Emily is currently working
toward a triple major of History, Literature and Psychology at SUNY Potsdam. Motherhood also keeps her busy as Logan (a.k.a. Major
Distraction) becomes more and more mobile. |
Tania Cambridge
|
After
completing a biology degree at Clarkson University in 2006,
Tanya and Rocky (her horse) moved to Valley Forge, PA to
work at a jumper barn. Tania and Rocky placed fourth
overall in yearend awards for the Pennsylvania Jumper
Association Hopeful Jumper Division in 2006. Rocky
returned Honey Dew Acres to join the lesson program in the
Spring 2007. Tania is also a graduate C3 Pony Clubber.

Peggy McAdam Cambridge
|
Being involved with horses since she was a teenager, Peggy
is HDA's barn manager and secretary. Having owned and operated
her skatewear business, "Peggy's Patch," for the
past 19 years, it was natural for her to assume management of the farm.
Peggy is also a 1974 graduate from farrier school in Grapevine, Texas. |
