Facilities at Honey Dew Acres
Main Barn and Small Indoor
Our main barn houses our spacious heated tackroom
and bathroom. Plans also include a heated "Parlor" to be used as a lounge and
classroom space. The main barn houses a stabling area, feed room and is the location of
a small indoor arena. Plans include building a second, larger indoor
in the future.
The East Wing
The East Wing contains 10 spacious rubber-matted box stalls.
The East Wing Extenstion (E.W.E.)
Attached to the East wing, the E.W.E. currently holds 2 oversized box stalls.
Outdoor Rings
Currently, we have
three outdoor rings. Ring #1 is 156' by 312' with sand footing. Ring
#2 is 156' by 312' with grass footing. In the summertime, Ring #2 also has
a complete set of jumps. Ring #3 has just been added this past year.
Sugar Bush
The Sugar Bush is adjacent to our parking lot and is the site of the cross
country for our Sugar Bush Event. It proves a "trail" experience for our
youngest riders and a cool place for kids to cool our their horses after
lessons.
Cross Country Course
Our Cross Country Course has jumps ranging from 18 inches to
novice, including a bank jump. We will be adding more jumps in 2007.
We also plan to expand our course to including training-level obstacles.
Trails and Fields
Just consider us land barons of Crary Mills! We have 200+ acres for
riding and driving fun! In the winter, we maintain a groomed track for
sleighing and riding.
